Annisa Belonogoff is an award-winning Australian actor, writer, showrunner, producer, and director, and the founder of Anakie Street Pty Ltd, a production company dedicated to bold, character-driven storytelling across stage and screen.
Her Screen Australia and Screen Queensland–supported comedy series Not Russian Anywhere released online in July 2025 and went on to win Best Comedy at the 2025 Australian Women’s Film Festival.
Her television drama When All of This Is Over, with Erik Thomson attached as Executive Producer, continues to attract industry recognition for its raw and emotionally resonant exploration of mental health. Annisa’s international crime drama Dead Man’s Friend, co-created with award-winning writer Joshua Young, will be showcased at MIPCOM Cannes 2025.
With over a decade of experience in the Australian screen industry, Annisa has built a reputation for uniting exceptional creative talent and crafting stories that connect audiences worldwide. A graduate of Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art, her work often draws from her Russian–Australian heritage and rural Queensland roots, balancing heart, humour, and humanity in every project.
Annisa also serves as Co-Chair of WIFT Queensland and is a Board Member of WIFT Australia, where she champions gender equity and supports emerging creatives across the industry.
